so... i'm still tweaking poor hadrian... still too girly. and i realized that the version of orion that i had scanned into the computer and printed out to use as the template for coloring him was actually an older version than the one posted here... which means that the colored version of orion looks quite a bit more feminine than the b/w one... which is rather frustrating. aaaaanyway, i'm considering uploading some of the stuff i did in my high school art class forever ago. i've got a b/w pencil thing of the famous afghani girl in national geographic... and i'm thinking of coloring that too... but i'm at home, and i'm pretty sure i left the preliminary line drawing (that i'd use as a template) at school, so that'll have to wait. i've also got the picture i did for the rodeo that ALMOST made it to the auction... it's donw from a photograph of me when i was 3 or 4 years old and brushing my mom's horse. it's colored pencil and i'm actually quite proud of it. it's bigger than the scanner, so i'll have to fiddle with doing it in pieces... i think my camera software will let me merge stuff... just have to see if i can make it work. again, still fiddling with hadrian... i'm trying to make the same adjustments that i made to orion that seemed to work pretty well, but the pose and position of his face is just different enough that i'm having a rather difficult time with it. any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. ^__^
